When we were in Kansas City checking out the BBQ scene. One of the places that we visited was Hayward's BBQ. Hayward's is a KC BBQ tradition that has been in operation since 1972. They are known for their "Pit Smoked" BBQ.

We had a sampling of their BBQ fair and one of the meats that we really enjoyed was their "Pork Burnt Ends". We looked at each other and said why don't we do this! Our Brisket Burnt Ends are a favorite and these are equally as good. Stop in today and give them a try. If you like them we will make them a regular special.

We have been very busy since the airing of the Man V Food Nation episode that featured the Rack Shack BBQ. To accommodate the additional business we have hired more staff to better serve our customers and we have purchased another smoker to increase our capacity. Our brisket and pork are in the smoker for 12-14 hours and we have been running out of these long smoke meats regularly. This new smoker more than doubles our capacity to service the in line customers as well as our growing base of catering and event business.

The food that was featured on that show is our Original "Hobo". The Hobo keeps increasing in popularity and we are very excited to have had it showcased on Man V Food Nation.
